Resolutions from the Board Meeting of 10th March 2007


1. Establishment of Foundation

An independent School for Life-foundation will be established. TRRM will transfer the carriership to this new foundation. The future cooperation with TRRM will be concentrated on common objectives and contents.

2. Regulations for Sponsors

All persons who wish to provide investments or sponsorships on campus or in the name of the School for Life off-campus,

(a) require the permission of the Board or Executive Board;
(b) must deposit the donations on the official account of the School for Life. The School for Life will see to the proper utilization of the donations.
(c) This rule applies to Board members as well, including the Presidents & Co-founders.
(d) Fundraisors who solicit funds from a third person into their private bank account for its implementation for the School for Life (or not) will be made aware of the legal consequences, especially when third persons were not properly informed about the official use of donations or were deceived.
(e) Persons with full knowledge of School for Life regulations trying to solicit money for their own reasons and into their own bank account will face legal action.

The Board specifically welcomes the acquisition of donations and the active cooperation of supporters, but insists on the regulations of the School for Life and such transactions being transparent and nonprofit.

3. Accreditation of Support Groups

The Board specifically welcomes the establishment of support groups in favor of the School for Life.

(a) Support Groups are only legitimate to acquire donations on behalf of the School for Life if they are accredited. Accreditation is decided in the Board. The Board will publish its regulations.
(b) The coordination of support groups in Germany will be monitored through the Shaul and Hilde Robinsohn Foundation.
(c) Accredited Support Groups will be published in the School for Life Website.
(d) Support Groups who wish to donate money for a specific purpose need to discuss those with the Board.

4. Authorization of Published Material

(a) The production and distribution of audio-visual and printed material of the School for Life through third persons has to be authorized by the Board. The Board will publish guidelines which particularly target the correct representation of the basic information of the concept of the School for Life.
(b) Published information through third persons with the target of soliciting money can solely use the authorized accounts of the School for Life.
(c) In the overall presentation of the project the two co-founders are equally mentioned.
(d) For film- or radio productions the draft has to be presented to the Board for approval.

6. Public Appearances of the Children of School for Life

(a) The Board welcomes appearances from the performance group of the School for Life. They support the self confidence of the children and show their strengths. The children are ambassadors for the School for Life.
(b) Local and regional or international performances from the children must be approved by the Board or for smaller events by the Executive Committee. The school and daily routine may not be disturbed by such events.
(c) Children of the School for Life may attend private or public functions in regards to fundraising only if
• the children are not abused for fundraising but the performance itself has cultural value;
• only the accounts authorized by the Board are used for donations.
